I discuss the ongoing conflict in Gaza, emphasizing the failures of conventional approaches and the need for a new perspective. I critique the Palestinian leadership's historical rejections of statehood offers and highlights the role of Hamas in perpetuating violence. I also stress the importance of establishing a clear moral stance against jihadism, drawing parallels with the post-World War II de-Nazification efforts. Ultimately, I argue that without addressing the root causes of jihadism, peace in the Middle East remains unattainable.
